Your AI, on every machine.

Jump lets Claude Code, Codex and any MCP client run commands, manage programs and move files on your other machines. Pair a machine once with a code, and your AI works there as easily as it does locally.

  • Keys pinned at pairing
  • Pairing codes never sent

> The Windows build is failing on win-build. Fix it.

● jump.run win-build cargo build --release
exit 101 error[E0433]: could not find `unix` in `os`
  --> src\perm.rs:3:14

perm.rs uses a Unix-only API with no Windows branch. Gating it behind cfg(unix) and writing the change to the node.

● jump.write_file win-build C:\src\app\src\perm.rs
wrote 1.2 KiB (overwrite)

● jump.run win-build cargo build --release
exit 0 Finished `release` profile in 48.2s

Fixed. The build passes on win-build, and the same change is in your working tree here.

An example session. Your AI client names the node; Jump runs the call there.

Reach

Fix the Windows build from your Mac.

Your AI runs commands, follows logs and moves files on any paired node, by name. Ask once, and it works across all of them.

  • "Follow the server log on staging while you change the config."
  • "Push this build to rig-1, rig-2 and rig-3 and run the smoke tests."

Trust

Nothing runs until you pair.

A node accepts only bridges it has paired with. The pairing code is never sent over the network, and every connection after that is mutually authenticated and encrypted.

Lightness

A node idles at about 5 MB.

The agent is one small program that waits without polling. It starts at login on Windows, macOS and Linux, and shows its state in the tray.

Fit

Works with the AI tools you already use.

Jump is an MCP server. Add it to Claude Code, Codex or any MCP client with one line.

$ claude mcp add jump -- jump mcp

Three steps to your first node.

  1. 1

Run the agent on the node

Start jump-agent on the build box, VM or test rig. It waits for a pairing.

  2. 2

    Pair it with a code

Choose Pair this node in the tray, then type the one-time code on your machine. Codes expire after 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Ask your AI

"Run the test suite on build-box and show me any failures." That is the whole interface.

What your AI can do on a node

Commands

run · node_info

Up to 30 minutes per command, with output capped at 256 KiB per stream.

Programs

start_process · process_output · stop_process

Dev servers and watchers keep running. Stopping one stops everything it started.

Files and logs

read_file · write_file · tail_file

Follow a log as it grows, and push builds to nodes with jump push.
